The mission of our foundation is to create a healthier North Texas by providing high-quality mental health and educational services to underserved areas in our community. Thanks to generous donors like you, we were able to continue our work at The King’s Academy and St. Philip’s School and Community Center.
This summer, our crisis team was able to swiftly respond to the needs of the community in the aftermath of July’s deadly flooding in Central Texas. In conjunction with a team from The Housson Center, we provided more than 220 hours of direct and indirect clinical support to children, parents, and the broader community. In the wake of such tragedy, the care we were able to offer was only possible because of your generosity.
We continue our vital work with The King’s Academy and St. Philip’s School and Community Center—both located in South Dallas. Through psychoeducational evaluations, therapeutic services, and teacher training, our clinicians have empowered faculty and families to understand and respond to their students' unique needs. These evaluations have led to targeted interventions that are making a real difference in the classroom and at home. Many of these cases are complex, reflecting not only learning challenges but also trauma and difficult living conditions.
Your support also helps us sustain and grow the Parenting for the Present Podcast, which features a diverse range of experts offering free, accessible parenting insights and mental health guidance. It’s another way we strive to remove barriers to support and education.
